We offer opportunities for creativity, nature connection and mindfulness, supporting a thriving addiction recovery community to live with meaning, purpose and joy.
Rite to Freedom comes to Bristol!
Addiction is said to be the opposite of connection.
Connection is the highest priority in our work with people in recovery.
Connect with others
Connect with nature
Connect with creativity
Rite to Freedom has worked with people in recovery since 2014 throughout the southwest, particularly in the wild lands of Dartmoor which has shaped our philosophy and methods of intervention. We use nature connection, creativity, mindfulness and the Jungian archetypes to inspire and sustain healing and change.
We are now offering activities to the Bristol community to complement the rich recovery support exististing in the city.

Monthly Experiential Sessions in the tranquil, private, Westbury Wildlife Park, Bristol BS9 3ET
Next Circles:
16th September, 14th October
3.00pm - 4.30pm
All circles are FREE and hosted by Massimo, a group facilitator in long term addiction recovery.
What brings us together in a Multi Addiction Recovery Circle is not the specifics of what we do in our addictive patterns but the motivation behind it.
We see our particular addictive behaviour as an attempt to solve the issue of not feeling OK with ourselves. It is our wounds and unease that compels us to find relief from pain and discomfort in different ways.
We are welcome (but not required) to share what specific behaviour has led us in the circle, but that is all. We don’t track each other’s sobriety. There is no requirement to get current with our slips and relapses.
Our circles are experiential. We offer specific activities in mindfulness, creativity and nature connection. Whatever happens in our life and our recovery, we come to the circles to receive support, tools and encouragement.
We meet to explore what happens beyond and behind our addictive behaviours. We keep mindfulness, curiosity and self-compassion at the centre of our work.
Meetings last for 90 minutes. There is space to socialise afterwards.
The Westbury Wildlife Park in Westbury-on-Trym provides a natural, tranquil environment with the river Trym flowing through.
The park is a short walk from the village of Westbury-on-Trym with good bus links. There is private parking.
For more information on the circles, join our Meetup group or contact Massimo directly.
