There have been community wide discussions since 2021 to create a fully representative Community Council for Creative Pathways. We wanted to be autonomous and governed by an experienced group with lived experience of chronic mental and physical ill health, neuro diversity and addiction challenges. The Community Council (CC) is made up of our Company Directors and trusted, long-standing members of the Creative Pathways community (staff and volunteers) and is a bridge between the Creative Pathways community, staff, our Board of Directors and the wider world. It ensures the aims, objectives and vision of Creative Pathways are upheld and updated where needed.
The CC was formed by unanimous vote in September 2021 and in July 2024, replaced our long-standing board of Trustees from our time as a registered charity.
Creative Pathways now operates as a Social Enterprise with newly revised Objects (Articles of Association).
